Find Unique Easter Gift Ideas
If you are looking for special Easter gift ideas, we have selected some great ideas from our website. As you know we have some lovely delicate loose leaf tea blends. In addition to teas, did you also know that we also have some seriously stylish tea ware collections that make unique Easter gifts?
Alison Appleton Collection
Alison Appleton established her British Ceramic Design Studio in 1998. From her studio, she created a range of high quality tea and coffee products. Her products sold in John Lewis, Harrods, Anthropologie, Crate & Barrel, Zara Home and Marks & Spencer. She was also a ‘name’ designer at La Cafetiere.
Alison firmly believes that a good cup of tea is something to take time over, to savour and to give your full attention. Well, we certainly agree with Alison there. A tea break should be just that: switch off the phone, relax and enjoy fine quality, loose-leaf tea from the loveliest crockery you can find.
Alison puts fellow tea lovers firmly at the heart of the design process, with elegant, practical products presented in gorgeous packaging. Good tea and teaware should be a gift, either to oneself, or to others which is so true.
We have a number of her teapots, including the Mido tea pot in warm red and slate grey, another one of her gorgeous teapots is the Nagoya stoneware teapot and matching 2 cup set. However, we just adore her Fritz teapots, also available in a number of colours. Maybe its the spring feeling or Easter, but the bright yellow is easily my favourite Easter gift idea.
Jasmine White Collection
Why not celebrate the arrival of Easter with a splash of colour from Jasmine White London’s enamelware range? Since you are having a browse, check out the vibrant and cheerful collection which includes hand painted mugs, tumblers and tea caddies. The items come in a lovely range of colours and patterns that would make for stunning Easter gifts ideas.
Jasmine White was created by Supriya Broadbent to reflect her love of all things fragrant and fine, handcrafted and finished to a high standard. She drew inspiration directly from her life in both India and the UK. Production uses traditional crafts and skills from communities in India which have been inherited through generations. This helps sustain communities that would otherwise be displaced due to increasing urbanisation. A passion for colour and distilled, elegant design that inspires pleasure and style lies at the heart of every Jasmine White Product. Jasmine White products have also featured in Harrods!
We were absolutely drawn to the colours and patterns which fits nicely with our South Asian inspired loose leaf tea blends.
More Easter Gifts Ideas & Chocolate
But….of course there is no Easter without chocolate because there is no Easter without chocolate right? Besides you need lots of chocolate, chocolate treats, chocolate eggs, chocolate bunnies, chocolate gifts and chocolates in all shapes and sizes! Which actually made me think how did Easter and chocolate become a thing?
A Very Brief History of the Chocolate Easter Egg.
So it turns out, in the 17th Century, artificial eggs were made as Easter gifts. These became popular and the first manufactured eggs started to appear. The first chocolate eggs were solid and the paste was used made from ground roasted Cacao Beans. Consequently, it spread through Europe with the eggs being hollowed out and became increasingly popular.
By the turn of the 19th century and as a result of improved manufacturing methods meant that the hollow moulded eggs became popular gifts for Easter. It wasn’t until the 1960’s that this was established world wide and on behalf of chocoholics all over, THANK YOU!
Guilt free treat anyone?
